The dialog's height is mostly determined by the fixed pixel size of 500x700 for
the preview widget (which was nothing to do with me).
I suggest https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/82790/ to measure it relative to
the user's font which gives approximately the same size for the gtk case by
substantially reduced for the gen case which might be more desirable
