            Bug ID: 129616
Summary: EDITING: Support switching of data sources for charts
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.3.3.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: markus.elfr...@web.de

Description:
I have tried the provided functionality out again together with the software
combination “LibreOffice Writer 6.3.3.2-865.16”.

Steps to Reproduce:
I can create a simple chart in an empty document.

Actual Results:
A diagram is displayed based on values which can be modified by the dialogue
“Data table”.
https://help.libreoffice.org/6.3/en-GB/text/schart/main0000.html

But the button “Data areas” is deactivated (greyed out) in the tool bar.

Expected Results:
I would like to choose an other data source for the chart object.

* Construct an additional table within the current document.

* Refer to an external file.

Reproducible: Always
