I put this into to terminal:
apt-get upgrade
It didn't make any difference. Although I don't know if you mean something
different.
I thought that I might add that this issue extends to right clicking and doing
a cut then paste, not just keyboard shortcuts. It does not affect any other
program e.g. email client, google docs in web browser etc. I don't use Open
office but I could install it to see if that is effected or not?
