            Bug ID: 136932
Summary: Write-protected content dialog is annoying and has no
                    way to bypass
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.4.5.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: avaman...@gmail.com

Description:
When one opens a write-protected document, there's no UI indication that it's
write protected, when you start to type it throws up a dialog box.

It should instead lock the toolbars in an obvious way that the document is
locked, there should be no dialogue box never ever, it should not even allow me
to place a cursor.

Second, the write lock needs to be something I can disable. Disabling the
protected content option in the settings just reverts when I reopen settings.
Makes zero sense. Terrible UX. It has to remove the lock when I order it to.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just open a write-protected document
2. Try to change it
3. Some annoying dialogue box jumps in front that has to be manually dismissed

Actual Results:
Annoying dialogue box, no UI hints that it's locked, no way to disable the
lock.

Expected Results:
No annoying dialogue box, UI hints that the document is locked, an **obvious**
way to disable the lock.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No
