Thanks BogdanB.  I can already do that.
Unfortunately when you do this it looks like a date but no longer behaves like
a date.  So you can't use it in any simple formulations.
You could use string extraction I guess but something simpler would be nice?
It would also be nice if the inputer could just enter a date as normal and it
automatically show in this desired format without them having to know or deal
with the ctrl-enter key combination.
