Sorry, silly me.. what should I expected at ESC press in presentation mode.
Apparently closing presentation:

However it's currently closing LibreOffice as a whole; which might make sense
if you double click a PPS (so launching LibO & starting presentation) but if
not if you have a running instance and file -> Open (with only a single 'screen
open)
