Bug ID: 137350
Summary: Incorrect display of “ornamental/decorative frames”
resp. double-line frames
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.0.1.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: dirk....@t-online.de
Description:
If you want to create a kind of “ornamental/decorative frame” around a page,
choose under “Page Style\Borders\Line\Style” any of the double line styles, e.
g. “Inset”. In LibreOffice Writer, the inner line basically extends beyond the
corners (see ornamental frame – “Inset” – LibreOffice.pdf), whereas in
OpenOffice Writer, the inner line forms a real corner (see ornamental frame –
“Inset” – OpenOffice.pdf).
Since the “ornamental/decorative frames” are displayed correctly in OpenOffice
Writer, it is obvious that there is a bug in LibreOffice Writer regarding the
correct display of “ornamental/decorative frames” resp. double line styles.
