Bug ID: 140529
Summary: Enhancement: Glow Effect needs to work on more than
base shapes
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ Master
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Draw
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: mwtjunkm...@gmail.com
Description:
I am able to apply the glow effect to base shapes, meaning shapes provided by
default by Draw, like squares and triangles.
It would be nice if the glow effect also worked on curves and polygons, which
is the majority of what I work with, mostly SVGs imported and converted from
InkScape, and would be excellent if able to apply to text converted to a curve.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Windows LO Draw
2. Draw a square using Draw's square tool
3. Apply the glow effect to it
4. Convert the square to a curve or polygon
Actual Results:
The glow effect is stripped from the shape and cannot be re-applied.
Expected Results:
Converting a base shape with the glow effect applied should not strip the glow
affect, and not prevent the glow effect to be applied after the conversion.
Reproducible: Always
