            Bug ID: 140874
           Summary: LibreOffice in a French desktop environment creates
                    Letter-sized documents by default
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.1.1.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: documentfoundat...@cauwelier.net

Environment: Arch Linux, libreoffice-fresh and libreoffice-fresh-fr installed,
package version 7.1.1-1

Gnome desktop environment set in France/French in the Country and Language
parameters

/etc/locale.conf:
LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8
LANGUAGE=fr_FR:fr

Excepted: When opening LibreOffice Writer (but also Draw and all), the default
document should be in the default local paper format for my country and
language, which is A4.

Result: All documents are in the US Letter format, which of course messes up
printing the document.

I double checked in the options Writer is using the default locale (reported as
"French (France)").

The paper size is part of the locale:
$ locale -k LC_PAPER
height=297
width=210

I can't remember when it started to drift. It used to "just work" so I didn't
have to check and correct the paper size on every document I create.

Please note I was pretty sure I already opened a similar bug, but I can't find
it either here or on the Arch Linux bug tracker, even in closed bugs.
