While I don't have unlimited download capability, I would be happy to download a special instrumented version of LO-4 for debugging purposes - and I don't mind compiling. Last Millennium (!), I wrote assembler programs for a mainframe (ICL 4/72) and later used gdb & emacs to debug multi-module C programs on Unix boxen. Unfortunately, now I use Java and am behind in my university project, so I don't have too much time for refreshing my 'low-level' programming skills.
