            Bug ID: 143421
Summary: Gradient page area stops at margins
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.1.4.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: cson...@halmai.hu

If I set the page area with Format -> Page Style -> Area -> Colour to, say,
blue, then the background changes blue from the left edge of the sheet to the
right one and from the top to the bottom. Nothing remains white. All good, this
is what I expected.

If I change the Area to Bitmap, Pattern or Hatch, it works the same way, All
good.

However, if I change it to Gradient (say, from blue to red) then the area
surrounded by the margins changes only to blue-red. The area _outside_ of the
margins remains white. This is wrong, it should be consistent with the other
Area options.
