Does not happen using the keyboard (alt+tab) which makes the dialog disappear first. Using gtk3 the dialog remains active but in the background. Using gen the dialog remains active and stays in front of all applications. Not sure how the behavior is on a native gtk system. And it maybe also depend on the window manager.
