Bug ID: 145018 Summary: Bad font hinting on 1080p screens at default zoom level Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2 all versions Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: LibreOffice Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: nicocarb...@gmail.com Description: I use libreoffice on 1080p screens under Ubuntu 21.04 (snap version). The hinting of fonts at 100% zoom in this resolution is not ideal. See this screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1M5p5angQO9sB_AuPB7X9ejP2ZemfV8wk/view?usp=sharing The space between "r" and "e", between "i" and "m", and between "p" and "t" are some examples where the space between fonts is too small. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Libreoffice Writer or any other 2.Make sure you are on a 1080p screen and at 100% zoom level 3.Write something Actual Results: The hinting between fonts is inhomogeneous Expected Results: The hinting should be more uniform Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Version: 7.2.1.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 2c9f9a7aa7c967a1b7ec3448959cff87b32f6580 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.13; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: es-ES (es_ES.UTF-8); UI: es-ES Calc: threaded -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
