Julian, Thank you, you can close this. it's no longer crashing. I believe a system update that arrived on the 15th fixed the problem. See below. I have been suffering with Base just shutting down at random when editing forms since I started trying to make a database on September 23 ( Kept losing my work ). The version with Mint was 6.4.7. So I moved to 7.1 then 7.2.2.2 hoping to fix the problem.
