The example combines C6 and letter, a very unusual situation. But it's simple
to reproduce with A4 in portrait and landscape. The issue becomes clear when
you have more than two pages or go back to p1: the preview updates too late and
in case of alternating orientation on each page you always see the wrong
orientation. So it's just a matter of when to redraw.
