Thanks for reporting; But I can't reproduce this behavior using Mac OSX 10.8.2
(as well) with LibreOffice 4.0.0.3 and 4.0.1.2.
Do you have any extensions installed?
Does a user profile reset resolve this issue (guide:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resetting_the_user_profile)
