The result remains the same. the program appears to hang but, after two minutes (almost to the second), on my system, the desktop directory populates and the dialog becomes functional. I also tried creating a document in LO, saving it to another directory, manually moving the file to the desktop and then opening and saving it in LO; this operation takes place smoothly.
