Tested saving blank ODG to Downloads folder.
No repro. No crash, file is saved as ODG with name that I give it.

No repro.
I created a file in my Downloads folder from the command line with:

touch TestColouredSquare.png

then tried to export an already saved ODG file containing a default blue
coloured square as PNG. No crash, no error message.

Repeated the experiment with various export formats - no crash.
