The original button is still listed in the form navigator but is still not visible or deletable. I've tried adjusting position and size properties to ensure it isn't just hidden behind the new button (even though button #1 was actually larger than button #2). At this point, I'm treating the old control as a broken relic that I can't remove without recreating this file from scratch.
