Bug ID: 148811 Summary: Impress Text-Box dialog does not honor checking Fit Width to Text Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.2.5.2 release Hardware: Other OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Impress Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: cdan...@betasoft.org Created attachment 179793 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=179793&action=edit Text Attributes dialog fails to honor [x] Fit width to text. Steps to Duplicate: 1. Select an ordinary text box on an Impress slide, containing a caption. 2. Open the Text Attributes dialog (shortcut Alt-o-o-x). 3. Make sure the "Fit width to text" box is checked. 4. Edit the caption, making the contained text shorter. 5. The text-box boundary remains unchanged; it fails to snap to the shorter caption. Issue: For a lengthy slide presentation with several text boxes per slide, it wastes the user's time to manually adjust text boxes to fit the text they contain. The "Fit width to text" feature should do what it says. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
