            Bug ID: 149312
Summary: Support multi-paragraph items of lists
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.4.0.0 alpha0+ Master
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: eyalr...@gmx.com

When producing content in a list - in Writer or in Impress - it is often the
case that a single list item requires more than a single paragraph of text. And
note: I mean multiple _paragraphs_, not just multiple lines. In Writer, this is
significant w.r.t. justification and spacing; in Impress, important also w.r.t.
animation effects, e.g. revealing one paragraph at a time.

Unfortunately, this is not supported, AFAICT, today. If you introduce a
paragraph break, you either get a new list item, or you have to leave the list
and indent. That's no good: Semantically, you are warping the document
structure by breaking a single list with intermittent paragraphs which are not
part of the list; and DF-wise - getting the indentation right is possible, but
tedious and may require "dummy styles". See also my recent bug 149307 about
what happens in Impress; and there's the fact that intendation-with-Tab only
works when bullets are on.
