> What you do is inflating number of bugs

I don't care about the number of bugs. I do care about there being an open bug
about outstanding issues. On the other hand, I could raise a similar question
about your motivation: Are you sure you are not rushing to mark dupes because
you disapprove of the number of bugs rising?

> without prior search

How do you know whether I've searched or not?

> or trying to understand what may or will not be done.

Not sure what you're talking about.

> DO NOT set Reopen when I or member of QA sets status.

Timur, I don't take orders from you.

The norm is, that confirmation (NEW status) requires acknowledgement/agreement
by others. But the question of whether bugs are duplicates of each other is a
matter for discussion.

> You may call someone else in CC if you disagree.

I will also do that; let's see what Regina says, for example. Or we could ask
Heiko to chime in.

But you should not mark bugs as duplicates without a convincing argument
regarding their being duplicates.

Again, I have no problem with this bug being marked a dupe if bug 92234 is
expanded to also regard Impress/Draw, and that would be perfectly fair, but you
should not try to make the issue "go away".
