Like extended filesystem-level attributes or separate files, in face of heterogeneous environments like FAT-formatted memory sticks or shares that deny different file types based on random admin decisions like "no filenames beginning with dot". Anyhow, at this point, it's just a waste of time to "discuss" anything with a person who kniws The Ultimate Truth.
