What we probably need is to switch page before pagination process finished (i.e. while pages count shown on status bar larger than minimum). Fastest way to switch page is clicking pages section on status bar. And it's better to disable showing headers tree there (if enabled). So I open sample document and then switching page to 2 or 3 as fast as I can. In Linux Mint I dont see any page separators in position where it scrolled to.
