I couldn't reproduce the freezes anymore, but I do see a significant time lag of several seconds (when continuing work after a break of several minutes), before Writer reacts. Usually, the time lag is just about 2 or 3 seconds, but I had cases where the time lag was more than 10 seconds, once even triggering the crash-app-dialog of Ubuntu.
