On Windows builds there is no delay or slowness when PDF export is selected and
size or resolution parameters are selected. But on opening the 'PDF Options'
dialog already reports the document size is "0.0 KB"
Proceeding, the write out to PDF is immediate with the named file being
created--unfortunately it is not a valid PDF, and is size ends up 0 bytes.
The image inserted shown in attachment 164092 was JPEG, so also tested a JPEG.
The other image export formats PNG, TIFF work correctly for same selection ->
Save... actions--including respective export Option dialogs showing reasonable
image size and produce an export.
Changing from JPEG to PNG inserted image made no difference.
Also tested Selection -> save-as PDF for image on Draw canvas. Same result--the
PDF filter export for an image Save does not function.
Kind of question the need in LO for a direct canvas -> PDF export for single
images.
@Tomaž, any thoughts? Maybe just remove the PDF format option for save of a
single image?
