Are you suggesting that to open a .csv file in Calc, I should first format numbers to TEXT for the entire spreadsheet and then open the .csv file? Since I don't know ahead of time which cells are going to contain larger than 15 digits, that's the only way I can prevent large numbers turning into scientific notation.
