          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 62992
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: Impress: Improve Insert -> File and to allow for
                    presentation library
          Severity: enhancement
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: sepp....@gmx.de
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 3.6.2.2 release
         Component: Presentation
           Product: LibreOffice

Currently when I import an .odp (with link) it's imported with all it's header
& footer information. But I would like to be able to use the same content in
different presentations.

But to do so, it would be necessary to have an individual footer containing the
slide number of the current slide and not the imported one. Same for the date &
footer.

The idea is:
Define Doc A, with all it's content
And use this in Doc B & C which will contain additional content, but also Doc
A.

Would help to create a library that can bu universally use for different
presentations. Currently I have Doc B & C and the content exists twice and I
need to update it twice as well.
