Downloaded the file from Google Slides, opened it in LO 7.5, clicked the audio
element on the first slide and pressed the play button: audio plays. Also plays
when presenting.

No audio in editing or presenting modes. Maybe Windows-specific.
We have bug 72792, which could be about PPT when this one can be about PPTX.
