If so, then try a previous version of LO where you think it worked correctly. It can be any version that you think works correctly. If you are able to show that it works correctly in one version of LO, then there are other tools for localizing the likely cause of the problem. Otherwise, if you are not sure if it ever worked correctly before, then maybe it will be easier for you to first check if the problem was "Inherited from OpenOffice (OOo)" (which is also an choice in the "Version" dropdown menu).
