There are now quite similar to bugs.freedesktop.org solution I've found today: number of steps: 30 cache: 256 MB per object: 16 MB remove after: 10 minutes number of objects: 32 I did change format of my current spreadsheet file into MS Excel 97 XLS and gave up an ODS format to be able to work in MS Excel 2000. I've just finish my work using MS Excel 200 without any problems. It doesn't matter what is the source of copy/paste data. There are simply numbers from web pages, Calc spreadsheets or Writer documents. I don't use any special memory/clipboard applications. Changes made in memory settings seems to help.
