It was only when I tried against a pg13 instance and later that I saw the problem. I thought that it might possibly be down to a change introduced in the TEXT datatype in pg13, but couldn't see anything in the release notes that might be indicative of such a change. I can't test any 6.x on macOS Arm, they refuse to run.
