            Bug ID: 154431
Summary: Bad management of hidden text in Writer | Editing,
                    fotmatting, viewing, UI
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: apprendista.programmatore+bugzi...@gmail.com

Description:
I have some hidden text in this file. I tried to make it visible followed the
instructions of
https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/en-US/text/swriter/guide/hidden_text_display.html
but it still does not show. In Word, the hidden text can be displayed.
I want paragraphs to be visible only in Writer but hidden when I export to pdf.
https://we.tl/t-GovczbEXzw
I cannot use the method described in
https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/en-US/text/swriter/guide/hidden_text.html
because it still leaves an ugly grey rectangle when I create the variable that
I would like to avoid seeing. Furthermore, I would like to set a paragraph
style that is only visible in Writer, which is much quicker to enter and better
distinguishes visible text from hidden text.
Same behavior in Windows 10 and in Fedora.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a paragraph
2. Assign it a style
3. Edit the style by putting it hidden text
4. Try recueprating that text, if you can

Actual Results:
The hidden text seems lost forever

Expected Results:
I would like, as is the case in MS Word, that when I set to display hidden text
it is shown.

Reproducible: Always
