Text annotation applied to a shape object does not wrap within the object's
frame. That is expected.
If you want more control, do not attempt to use the metafile object's text
field, instead insert a draw Text box <F2> sized to the area needed. That will
wrap and you can adjust the text attributes as needed.
Then select and group the shape objects, e.g. metafile and text frame.
