That is, using the default font, the default font size, the default row's height and the default column's width, how many characters are completely seen without additional formatting? To test that condition, the screen resolution, screen scaling, text scaling, and zoom features (from Calc itself and from the OS) are also relevant. I also assume that some other conditions might be relevant too, such as the desktop environment (e.g. using (vertical) task bars and/or similar items).
