When I first installed an update for Libre Office (detail below) the application hung for all attempts to save or save as for writer, Calc and Draw ( I did not test the others) After deleting the Libre Office user profile and restarting the application I was able to save anywhere EXCEPT the desktop. There are no anti-virus apps on the Mac. There are no issues with any other app saving to the desktop folder. All permissions on the local hard disk appear correct.
