I sorry but I can't reproduce your problem.
I used LibreOffice 4.0.2 on Windows 7 (64-bit).
Did you save in another format than ods, like xls or xlsx?
What version of LibreOffice, Windows are you using?
I'd be glad to try to reproduce this again if you provide more information on
how to do it.
Can you reproduce with the file I attached?
