Bug ID: 156020 Summary: Add option to turn off autocorrect while typing to Calc Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.5.3.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: will.fried...@gmail.com Description: There is currently no option to turn off "autocorrect while typing" as exists in LO Writer (Tools | Autocorrect | While Typing). This means that one either needs to "undo" locally-undesirable autocorrections, or turn them off completely while doing a certain task and then turn them back on later. Neither is a great solution -- the former is time-consuming, and the latter is both time-consuming and can result in forgetting to re-enable the disabled option. I can't think of a reason not to add this option to Calc. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to Tools | Autocorrect Options. Actual Results: There is no option to disable autocorrect while typing. Expected Results: There should be an option to disable autocorrect while typing. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.5.3.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 9f56dff12ba03b9acd7730a5a481eea045e468f3 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
