No, LibreOffice Viewer is not based on Collabora online/LibreOffice online, but
a different/separate app which is located inside of the "core" git repository:
https://git.libreoffice.org/core/+/refs/heads/master/android/
The Collabora Office app is located in its own repository, as your link shows.
While they're both based on LibreOffice, they're technologically quite
different and basically independent of each other.

>From what I know, Collabora Office is still developed and the app is provided
either via Google Play or a third-party F-Droid repository. More details on
their website:
https://www.collaboraoffice.com/collabora-office-android-ios/

What's true is that the effort to bring the app into the official F-Droid repo
seems stuck when looking at the corresponding issue in the F-Droid issue
tracker:

>From what I can tell, there's currently not really a long-term plan.
I'm personally mostly focusing on keeping the app up to date with other
LibreOffice changes, don't really have time for working on improving the
editing functionality and am not aware of anybody else currently working on
that either, so it seems likely that the editing functionality is going to
remain experimental for now.

Do you still think the app should be renamed at this point in time?
