Thank you for bringing that point to my attention.
I agree entirely. It started out as a bug and, if effort is to be
expended in correcting it, I suggest consideration should possibly be
given, in order to conserve precious resources, to enhancing this aspect
of LibreOffice.
I'll leave the matter in your capable hands.
If there is any way I can assist, say, by filling out an enhancement
request I would be very pleased to oblige. I wish I had the knowledge
and ability to be of more help.
