Still reproducible. Using the testcase, the secondary text remains until the
effect is finished, which then the remaining text is left at an angle. Creating
a new file and adding a wave effect fixes the secondary text issue, but the
text is still left at an awkward angle. I am unsure if that is expected
behavior or not. Deleting the effect in the testcase file and re-adding it also
fixes the duplicated text issue.
