It might be needed in macOS case, to treat this clipboard format differently.
Needs OS-specific knowledge. Patrick is the expert here.
At least on Windows, it is *expected* that the *shared* clipboard contains the
link entry, and so e.g. one may put a DDE link to Excel, which references a
point in Writer's document. So at least there, this interchange format is not
app-local.
