Is this simply "not our bug"? The automatic format detection of the validator does not work. You need to select the format manually. The file is valid "OASIS ODF 1.3 (extended confirming)". MS Office is not able to use elements and attributes in loext or other namespaces special for LibreOffice. If you want to create an odp-file usable by foreign applications, you need to store it in "ODF 1.3", not in "ODF 1.3 extended". When saving the file in "ODF 1.3", the saved file is valid according validator. Nevertheless, PowerPoint does not read the images.
