Hi, As announced earlier this week https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/ is now visible to the public. I hope it will have a positive impact on the quality of the reported bugs. I will be monitoring the results at http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Bug_Submission_Assistant#Metrics . There is still much to be improved ( http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Bug_Submission_Assistant#Specifications ). And the real user experience will add even more items. It will also define priorities.
My contribution ends tomorrow, after almost four weeks. I wrote a post mortem at http://dachary.org/?p=886 . I also tried my best to clearly explain all aspects of the current implementation at http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Bug_Submission_Assistant so that a contributor can use it as a central point to figure out what can be done and how. In any case I will remain available indefinitely to fix any properly qualified bug without delay. I expect there will be a few, despite the time spent in testing and I would not want them to disrupt the user experience for too long. Thank you all for your invaluable contributions to Libreoffice, which I've been using for many years. With the elections and the conference much will happen in the next weeks and I hope it will allow you to secure the future of this ambitious project. You've been very kind to me and working with you all has been enjoyable and challenging. You have created a motivating atmosophere and that makes a big difference to a casual contributor like myself. Cheers
