Dear friends,I have recently switched from Windows to Linux and, sadly, the programme which might force me (a very frequent presenter) back to Windows will be Libreoffice Impress - for two reasons:
a) it crashes way too often...b) It has a nasty bug which makes it for me as employee of the Fraunhofer society (Germany's largest research organization with over 20.000 employees) difficult to work with: It cannot even render the logo of the Fraunhofer society correctly (see enclosed file)
I am therefore really happy that many volunteers try to improve LO 4.0. I could not contribute so far because on my computer (thinkpad T400s with Ubuntu 12.04.1), LO 4.0.0 crashes at startup... Therefore, I am not sure if the mentioned bug has been fixed, if so; I apologize.
Keep up your great work and thanks a lot! Best regards Karl -- ...................................................................
