Yes but changing margins is not used alone. We also use "Format Page", 
often by trial and error to adjust the scaling mode & scaling factor, even
the 
orientation sometimes

This feature must be accessible, regardless of the evolution...

Another aspect does not seem to have been evocated. 
The preview starts easily by the Standard toolbar button. It therefore 
allows the successive tests mentioned. 

If it was removed in favor of the preview available in File> Print, 
user could not use the "Print file directly" (button from the Standard
toolbar)  
since it runs directly printing without print preview. 

Should therefore  keep the "Preview" button but associate the launch of
File> Print.

Otherwise the user must go through the menu which is slower...
