This issue is resolved fixed (comment 35) with the ability to disable document
thumbnails available as an expert configuration setting.
Suppressing the Start Center thumbnail views or MRU doccument name listing
while maintaining the menu MRU is a different issue.
You are welcome to open a new RFE ticket, but be aware we already WONTFIX'd bug
95739 for which providing a view of MRU other than thumbnails would facilitate
a mode suppressing MRU on the Start Center.
