Comment 70 and 78 are wisdom, and a good proposal is missing too. On the other hand, compatibility is prime and neither prev/next page nor any offset are stored with docx. MS Word allows an offsets per field code like "{={PAGE}-10} of {={NUMPAGES}*20}" showing as "-9 of 80". But it wont be stored as a field when saving as ODT. In the end we do not have the expertise to decide on the matter.
