--- Comment #7 from Vladislav Tarakanov <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Eyal Rozenberg from comment #6) > ... no, it isn't. That would be a different bug. My apologies, but perhaps there was some misunderstanding because I responded instead of Amin, who created the bug. We usually create reports together, so we occasionally intervene in the discussion, which can be confusing. During the discussion, we decided it would be convenient to add a user tab directly to the startup dialog. These seemed like critical features that should be configured during the first launch. Based on this, we created a report specifically proposing to add a new tab. Our original idea was to allow users to fill in user data during the first launch. > > If it is > > possible to add auto-detection to LO, then it would probably be better to > > discuss a new tab for popular settings in a separate report. > > That's not an "If" - it is possible for the basic fields. Given the numerous comments that suggest adding a new tab for user data to the startup dialog shouldn't be added, could Amin and I implement automatic field filling in the current report without creating a new report? Or would it be better to mark this one as RESOLVED NOTABUG and implement the auto-detection in another report? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
