Question is what to do in the mean time. I tend to opt for using LO color picker by default. If desired a providing the ability for opting for the DE (GTK) integration (Tools -> Options -> General, or an ExpertConfig only stanza). The default can be changed when the GTK color picker being on par with the LibreOffice variant. I'm rather undecided what what the proper answer would be for the QT variant.
